What do you enjoy most about your line of work?
“I love the pursuit of a common goal. When a family contacts me with interest in a home in Ruidoso, whether it is to sell or to buy, I enjoy the market research involved to determine the best price, the discussion of needs and expectations, strategies to get and achieve those, and then the teamwork to accomplish their goal of buying or selling a primary or second vacation home in the mountains. I often say I’m the donkey always moving toward that carrot dangling ahead on a stick, it’s what I do, it’s what I love, and I’m going to get that carrot for my clients.”

What is your favorite part about working with Future Real Estate?
“I really enjoy the teamwork mindset, the innovativeness, the willingness to share ideas, and the will to push each other to greater success which ultimately allows us to better serve and be more knowledgeable for our clients.”

What are some of your personal attributes that you feel make you a good REALTOR?
“I’ve always had a mild interest in real estate. That interest ignited and changed my career path during 2 real estate courses in my graduate program at the University of Arkansas. I was near completion of my Master’s in Agricultural Economics when I studied real estate investments and real estate appraisal. I give this background because it ignited a passion in me that has a numbers and data driven foundation, the skill set to know that you don’t have to know all the answers but rather how to find the answers, and the ability to think outside the box. To put all that in one sentence? My personal attributes that make me a good REALTOR are the ability to think critically and problem solve for my clients.”

How do you build relationships with your customers?
“I build relationships with my customers by learning as much as I can about them. Everyone has a story. I find those stories fascinating. Those stories are important to my customers and drive many of the decisions they make in buying or selling a home. If I can build a relationship and understand what is really important to my customers and clients then I can really perform at a level that allows them the greatest success.”

Some fun facts about me:
“I have a 4 year undergraduate degree in chickens, I have a large collection of all kinds of flavors of honey, I love growing plants, I grew up in rural north Texas and was heavily involved in 4-H, and I like my coffee too strong.”
